What's the earliest you can do a pregnancy test after a fresh embryo transfer (ivf)?

I understand that the hormones going into your body during the ivf cycle will give a false positive, but when is the all clear?

Hello,

When has your clinic advised you to test? I think from what i have read most clinics say 14dp5dt, but mine said to test 10dp5dt. I had a trigger shot and they told me it would be well out of my system by then so the results would be accurate. I think as a general rule from 9-10 days post transfer a faint line may show if its positive, unless of course its a late implanter which does happen. Best of luck!! Xx

I have had a false positive as late as 7dp5dt from the trigger - I tested it out and it was very very faint but still there at 8dp5dt.

My clinic say to test 16 - 18 days after collection

Good luck xx
