I know we can’t recommend clinics on here but please could anyone who’s got any experience of using donor eggs in the Manchester / Warrington area private message me about their experiences?
After 2 failed cycles with the nhs, including one miscarriage and several failed transfers (I have low AMH and 40) we are thinking of using donor eggs next as my egg quality is apparently poor 😥
Any advice would be great.
Many thanks. Xx 💞

Hi Jem04, we have been with Manchester Fertility and are currently 11 weeks pregnant. My gorgeous wife has low amh and is also 40, our best chance was with donor eggs which we opted for (after 3 rounds of IVF). They (MF) have been brilliant from the start, consultation, to receiving our donor profiles and all the care and scans involved. Hope this helps a little & we are here to help if you have any questions 🍍
Morning, sorry to hear of your losses, it doesn’t get any easier .
Iv got no experience of Manchester clinics , but I can connect with the DE journey.
I’m 44 good AMH had a failed ivf cycle in September & since been told that DE is my best chance of a successful pregnancy as my egg quality is not so good . Took a few weeks to get our head round it but now feeling hopeful. We are linking with a clinic in Greece , been highly recommended. First zoom call today . Lots of options out there I didn’t research to many as it’s a little overwhelming. Good luck & feel free to ask me anything I’m just staring this journey so learning on the way ! Xx
Thanks for replying and good luck with your journey, I have heard great things about treatment in Greece, just wasn’t sure due to the pandemic how that would work now? Hope everything goes well for you. Best wishes
One of my friends went for DE after 3 cycles of IVF, and they managed to get a BFP at the first attempt! Now they're are at the 13th week <3 I think they used Manchester Fertility as well.
Hi I am under Manchester fertility currently, one scan with them found adenomyosis (which I had never even heard of) and can explain why all my previous treatment hasn’t worked, having laparoscopy and hysteroscopy in a couple of days after repeatedly asking nhs doctors about symptoms, very frustrating and all very expensive but hoping we can proceed with donor egg matching after this although I will need additional treatment for the adenomyosis. Good luck with everything xx
Thanks for your reply Jem. I have just been diagnosed with mild endometriosis and adenomyosis and have been down regulated which will go on for up to 3 months.. I’m also due to have an hysteroscopy 🤦♀️ Things are never straight forward are they! I think if these blastocysts don’t work I may need to consider donor eggs. I’m 41 nearly 42 so time is not on my side xx good luck too x
