Average of 17mm follicles at time of trigger, success stories?? IVF

Hello,

I have 13 follicles ranging between 13-20mm and am triggering tonight.

Will the follicles continue to grow after triggering with Lupron and Novarel.

Also~~ Are the follicles that are 13, 14, 15 and 16mm too small to produce mature eggs?

Is there a chance of finding more eggs?

Would love to hear some success stories! Thank you

Hi, I had 17 follicles ranging from 11-23 on Friday. Egg collection was today and they said they were expecting 17 eggs but actually collected 24. I expect the 7 extra to not be mature though. Reckon you’ve got some good numbers there! I’m getting a call tomorrow about maturity so can let you if you like! Good luck

Thanks for the response. What was the average size of your follicles? 24 eggs is great! Would love to know how many are mature. I just triggered this evening and will be having the retrieval in Wednesday morning so hoping for the best!

Hi, just had call and 16 were mature so some of the smaller follicles got mature

I got mature eggs from all follicles 14mm and bigger on day of trigger

I only had 3 follicles more than 18mm on my last scan! And by the time I got to egg collection they collected 8 (I have low AMH, so I was happy with that) today I got a call to say 6 have fertilised so considering there was only 3 ‘mature’ at my last scan! It can all change and my clinic told me they will have continued to grow since last scan! Xx
