Quick question anyone had BFN then told they need to lose weight as this could be a factor of failed cycles??

Thanks Anna

Yep. Similarly to you I’ve had a number of failed FET’s and one fresh transfer that ended in miscarriage at 5+3.

After my last BFN the clinic (grasping at straws) said the same to me. I am sure they’re right, but it definitely not the magic bullet. That, and asking me to spend £3k on ‘endometrial regeneration’ was their recommendation. None of it made sense going by outcomes of previous rounds and tests.

I went and got a second option. Best money I ever spent. Looks like we’ve discovered what is causing the repeated implantation failure.xx

Wow yes they said to me to lose some weight but I’ve got PCOS so it’s damn difficult for me I’m trying so hard to limit what and when I eat and I do so much walking but it’s just not shifting at all

What was the reason for your implantation failures? Xx

I’ve got autoimmune thyroid issues so feel your pain. The weight doesn’t shift.

I’ve got elevated cytokine ratio and elevated NK cells, so took my first shot of Adalimumab this morning.xx

Good that your thyroid is fine. I also have PCOS and struggle to stay in healthy weight range. Also found my thyroid is slightly hypo. Best diet I’ve found for us PCOS gals is low carb, low GI, more protein and good healthy snacks xx
