Hey lovely people, I’m 7dp5dt and due to test on Tuesday (11dp5dt). I’m thinking of testing to tomorrow, is that too early?
With our last ET I waited till OTD to test and it ended in a BFN. I felt so silly for going through all of that and waiting to test just to get a negative ( I know I shouldn’t have). I guess I’m projecting my fears a little bit but I just don’t want the same result as last time 😔.
When is too early to test, should I just wait until OTD? Xx

I feel the same as you. I had my first fresh transfer October which ended in a BFN. I waited until test day and was devastated.
I am starting my natural FET this month and i am thinking i see loads of people test earlier should i do the same. As much i would be as devastated as before if i got a BFN at least my hopes are gone earlier.
My last transfer i had cramps but thought that was normal no bleeding so I generally thought it had worked.
I am sorry i dont have the advice you are looking for but i do understand what you are feeling.
Hi Frankie, thank you so much for your kind words.
I’m trying to remain positive 😅. This time round does feel a lot different as it’s a FET, last time I was still very sore from the egg retrieval when I had the transfer.
It’s lovely to be able talk with people who know exactly how you feel.
Wishing you all the best, may this transfer be the one! Xxx
I had positive test since day 5dp5dt. You can test at 7 days past transfer but please set up your mind that you will not get upset if you test negative as your positive response can come a bit later. Testing early can create lots of anxiety: why is not getting darker? Or is it dark enough? Etc ... But I am not against testing early I even encourage to do that because this was the only way for me to find out that I had biochemical pregnancys 3 time now. So for future transfers I now where I should focus. Fingers crossed for you 🤞❤️
I guess the question is am I ready to test early?😅 I’m going to think on it a little bit more before I decide. Thank you for sharing and sorry to hear it’s not worked out for you yet, wishing you all the best for next time❤️
If you can then hold off for test day! If you test negative on an early test (which can obviously change) then its soooo hard to keep your chin up and keep going with the meds. Im not saying not to test early (no lectures) as I am an early tester myself but have seen my fair share of negatives along the way and its hard. Good luck.xx
