TWW and going insane

Its all I think about unless Im keeping busy. Its all I read about on internet unless Im busy. Day 6 and already feel like its taking over my day/nights. Are you in your two week wait and feeling this way? Really considering testing early, are you or have you tested early? How early is too early?

Hi, I'm passed my tww now but it is long. I felt the first week wasn't to bad but the second was longggg! I think you just have to try and put it to the back of your mind🙈

Thank you. I had no symptoms at all then the just before test day I felt like my period was about to start. My back was killing me where it normally does when I'm due my period x

I’ve had a few period cramps which makes me think it’s going to be a negative but apparently it’s very common... only 3 more days to go! Xx

Oh I’m with you, it’s the best and worse thing! I only had my transfer yesterday and already starting to go a bit mad! 🤪I think the only way to get through it is to keep yourself busy doing nice/relaxing things when you can. Sending lots of positive vibes and hugs. xx

I am on day 3 and my partner and I are both going insane. All I can do is look at this ap and watch crap on Netflix. I don’t really want to speak to any muggles and I have been told by my clinic not to do yoga and running, the weather is crap and there is a lockdown so there is little to distract. I am actually looking forward to being back at work tomorrow!!!! I am with you 100%. When is your OTD?

Keep busy lovely, do what makes you happy. Ive been reading, short walks, crosswords and just general relaxing, bit of meditation set me up in the morning too.

This is my 6th embryo transfer. I got lucky with my 3rd transfer and have a nearly 2 year old.

This is my 3rd FET this year. Both previous ending in a chemical. It’s all such a lottery.

Arrrghhh the TWW is horrible, I’m 11dp5dt I had symptoms first week like nausea, backache, slight cramping but literally nothing since!! Trying to stay positive but I’m starting to think I’m out! I want to test early but also so scared too. Wednesday can’t come quick enough.

Hi hi! Well done on not testing early so far!

I read somewhere in theory you can test 5dp5dt HOWEVER when you read a lot of people’s experiences this can just bring false results, it is too early and ultimately it depends what your cycle is naturally like in terms of length.

I made the mistake on my first FET of testing on 5dp and I then bawled my heart out for a day whilst reading it was too early to test and could be false results etc etc. My personal experience is the impatient hopeful stage is much better than being in the ‘I had a negative result but it could be wrong’ or ‘it’s positive but could be chemical’ stage. So I feel I learnt the hard way of testing too early but that’s me and how I deal with it - everyone is different and you might read this and think ‘nope im not like that!’ It’s so important to do what you feel is right and keep as little stressed out as possible!

I’m now planning on testing the day before OTD (which will be 9dp5dt) as the husband isn’t with me on OTD and I don’t want any surprises without him.

I hope my little tale of personal experience helps with the early testing dilemma! It’s also what’s keeping me stronger through this tww than last time but I would be lying if I said the sticks aren’t starting to call my name! Stay strong with whatever you choose and good luck!

im 5 days past 3day embryo transfer still no symptoms except tired and sleepy. sore nipples is normal.due to progesterone. is anybody here had symptoms after 5days of 3day ET? what day usually u get symptoms?

i had my transfer on a 5day embryo and have also had same symptoms as yours. Our symptoms can be so confusing try not to read too much into the symptoms i know its difficult but so many pregnancy symptoms mimic period symptoms and visa versa. Hi I am 5dy5dt now ... I’m due to test on Saturday but going to test Friday x I don’t really have many symptoms.. a bit tired and a bit of nausea but prob all progesterone related ! In my previous pregnancy I had no symptoms until 6 weeks ! I did have an implementation bleed though ... I’m actually hoping for a bit of spotting as it’s a really good sign !

Hi I’m not understanding what’s happening to this 2ww and what clinics are not giving people the correct date as you say you’re going to be testing Friday that’s a whole 7 days before my test date and you’re only one day ahead 🤷‍♀️,,,,,,,, no symptoms is ok as you’ve had success in the past and every woman is different x I wish you all the luck in the world and sending lots of positive vibes your way. Mine was also a 5 day embryo I had my transfer 29th but my test date is 2 weeks later which is a week Friday. All clinics are different I guess 🤷‍♀️

It is confusing why would one clinic say 'X amount' of days and another say something else. Maybe its specific for the individual but I didnt think so. Maybe ask at your clinic next time you speak with them, Im curious too now.

I'm on day 12 and got a bfn again this morning. I've been testing since Friday and I wish I hadn't. My results are neg and now I'm fixated on googling for late positives with healthy babies 🙄. My string advice would be to hang on until s day or two before OTD. Best of luck xx

Yes we have three more embryos but I dont know what the plan for our next transfer will be yet. Going to clinic for beta hcg bloods on Wednesday still so I'll know more then about a plan going forward. Im 46 and its finer eggs so I really thought it would just work!!!!

I am so sorry, keep strong and do all what you love to do. Take lots of time to indulge in chocolate and wine and hot bubble baths. It really important to have lots of self love.

I'm day 10 today and feel like I've been going insane since day 3. OTD is the 5th. I've had cramps the whole time but today they feel stronger like AF is coming. Had slight spotting on Saturday too so I was convinced that was AF and was miserable all day but it stopped again. I'm determined not to test early. At the moment I don't think I'll even dare look at the test on Thursday, I'm so worried it'll be negative. Don't think I want to know.

Spotting is a very good of pregnant as it’s the old blood coming through !! You wouldn’t get a period cause of the progesterone so spotting is almost always a sign of pregnancy !

I had the exact same experience last week, first cycle ,spotting from day 10 i though it was an early sign of pregnancy and i was super positive and on my test day i got a negative result unfortunately and period came same say.

It’s really depressing and stressful but hope

I don’t want to upset you but put every possibility in mind. I didn’t want to think negative but i was shocked

I think it was most likely irritation from the pessaries (the applicators are a bit scratchy), it stopped again pretty quick. The nurse told me not to read anything into anything as nothing confirms I'll get a positive or negative test so I'm doing my best to wait. I think I'll be shocked either way.

I am the same, it’s on my mind all the time and keep googling everything that pops in to my head. My OTD is 07/11 as well. Keep having dreams about it. I have no symptoms and as my progesterone levels were too high don’t have much hope. This 2ww is agony. I would be too scared to test early as I would feel the result would be unreliable.

I too had an agonizing wait but my clinic told me to test this morn first wee of the day (baring in mind I had the transfer only last sat, but they were 5 day blastocyst)

I got a positive result we thrilled but I suggest not testing earlier.

I stupidly did mon & tue gone and both were negative!!

It’s the longest hardest week of your life.

Btw I had ZERO symptoms so was convinced it hadn’t worked!

Then again loafs of woman get signs still with a positive result.

I’ve hardly slept this last week and woke at 2.30 this morn, just lay with my eyes closed till 6!!!
