Just looking to see if anyone else has had really bad back pain and receivers a BFP?
I carried out IVF treatment this cycle, I had a 5 day fresh embryo transfer on Sunday. It is now 7 days since the transfer (the following Sunday) and I have had some really bad back pain today. (So bad a one point I was pacing around!)
Has anyone experienced this? I’m hoping it’s not a bad sign...😫 my blood pregnancy test is due on Tuesday, I’m too scared to take a urine test!
Any messages would be much appreciated!!!!

Hello that’s a hard one because back pain can be a PMS sign for some people but that was actually the only symptom I had early on. I can’t remember when it started but it was very early and lasted until about 10 weeks. My fingers are crossed for you!
I had a 5 day blastocyst transferred on a Wednesday, the following Sunday I had bad lower back pain, a couple of days later on the Wednesday (7 days after transfer) I did a test and it was positive. Now six weeks + 3 days xx
Hi, I have had lots of cramps and low back pain. It felt like I was getting my period but I tested yesterday 8dp5dt and got a BFP. Waiting for my blood test Thursday.
Absolutely! I never though I’d ever be someone to post on here, but here I am! Is nice speaking to other people in the same boat! Just trying to keep positivity..if it’s not this time, it will be next hopefully!
Hi Rubytasier. Back pain could be down to the womb settling down after being manipulated, or sometimes is an indication of a urine infection?? Make sure you drink plenty of water to keep your urine nice and pale. Should the pain continue have a word with your GP. Have a rest when you can, and perhaps take some paracetamol. Diane

So I did a first response urine pregnancy test 9 days after my 5 day Fresh embryo transfer and it has come up with a faint positive. I have just received my blood test results this morning and they have told me That my HCG levels are really low and that it can be likely that it won’t last. I am going for another blood test tomorrow.
Really tough news after doing the test. Sure is a rollercoaster of emotions and trying to remain hopeful. (I’ve had 4 failed IUIs and 2 IVF FET failures so far) I was hoping this was lucky number 7!!!!
Great thank you, I’m finally pregnant after all this time! I didn’t fall pregnant the cycle with the bad back pain and low blood result but I did the next cycle thankfully!
That is so good to hear. they don't do blood testing at the moment only pee test which makes it hard to tell. as I don't know if anything has happened no positive pee test at 9dpt of 5dt. the clink told me to test again in 2 days my family and friends are hopeful
