Pregnacare delaying period or actually pregnant?!

I took advice recently and bought some pregnacare tablets, I've only taken 4 and no sign of period (thats usually like clock work) not sure if its the tablets that have delayed my period or the fact that I'm pregnant, but too early for a test!! Reading lots of comments about similar situations. So frustrating as i thought I knew my body so well and now I'm confused! Think I'm going to stop taking them until I know for sure if I am pregnant or not. However, if I am pregnant is it unsafe to not take any form of folic acid?! 😪 help!

I started taking them but they did impact my period which was usually always on time. However this was after two months so I don’t think 4 tablets would have that impact? I hope not the case for you and it has worked. If you do stop taking them you can take folic acid by itself that’s what I have done.

Hello, thank you so much for your reply. I had similar thoughts, surely 4 tablets wouldn't have such an impact in such a short space of time. I think my only option now is to wait and see what happens! ☺ thanks for the info and all the best x

Pregnacare never delayed my periods which are also regular too. With this pregnancy I tested 11 days post ovulation ( 3 days before period was due) with my daughter & chemical pregnancy I tested a day after my period was due. If you have missed you’d period you can test now- but use a sensitive pregnancy test & must be with first urine. Good luck ☝🏻I endured a 7 year struggle to conceive our daughter ( it took nearly 6 years of trying to get my Endo diagnosis & after my third lap had success!) xxx

When I took pregnancare it also delayed my period so I had to stop taking them. As soon as o stopped my period went back to normal. I told my ivf consultant about this too and she said it’s not the first time she’s heard that 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️. Good luck! xx

Even if it’s like clock work a delay can always happen. How late is your period? If it’s due you can definitely do a pregnancy test.

My situation is same I stopped taking this vitamin when I realised that my periods delayed am using simple folic acid now nd waiting for my periods bt I didn’t check yet
