I am 6 weeks and 4 days and just went to the toilet and in my knickers was like pinky red watery blood with a little bit of brown discharge.... am I likely to be miscarrying 😢😩 I went again about half hour later and there was just watery brown on tissue when I wiped x

Hi- I had brown discharge/spotting from about 5 weeks to 7.5 weeks and occasionally had a light pinky fluid when I wiped. I was totally panicked and I kept waking up to it but I had a few scans and they said they couldn’t see any reason for bleeding. They said that you can have bleeding from implantation which hangs around and then gradually comes out as the baby moves around, starts to grow and that’s why it’s brown (old blood) and can happen over a period of time.

Have you got a viability scan booked?

Try not to worry (easier said than done I know!!!) I hope everything is fine.

Really? It was just went I went to the toilet and was in my underwear, just watery red spots and then brown so got paranoid more because of the watery red mark.

I have an early scan booked for 9am tomorrow which I managed to book last week as I was so worried because I have anxiety and have had to stop medication.

It’s so scary isn’t it. I know I have read and people have told me they have had it etc but doesn’t stop the worry does it.

Yes I am glad I have it tomorrow. Just hope I see babies heartbeat and he/she is ok.

Hi Gtaylor, i’m pretty sure it’s nothing to worry about. I woke up bleeding dark red at 6+1 weeks and I was so scared to my bones. I rushed to my clinic and was given some injections to stabilize my cervix. I carried out a scan same day and my babies were relaxing in there. At 6+ 3 I started bleeding again. This time it was bright red with big clots. I was devastated because I thought it was all over. I went for a scan the next day And my babies were still intact. I’m 7weeks now still have some dark spotting but the clinic says it should be leftovers finding its way out.

I had a show around 6wks too, it so scary but the main thing is it sounds like whatever it was has stopped and there is no pain! Brown is old so just the remnants disappearing. Ive had something similar last night again and it does out the fear of god into you but try to relax.....I know that sounds ridiculous but I had a miscarriage over a year ago and I had a lot of pain.xx

So I had my scan and there is a heartbeat 💗 sad the other 2 didn’t stick but so happy one has. I am now going to anxiously wait for 12 weeks scan unless they offer me one before. Thank you for all the support and advice xxx

Great news, sorry your other 2 embryos didnt make it though!! Amazing seeing something on scan isnt it!! We have a long way to go but it's great to be in this position!!xx

Thank you. I know, for some reason I can’t fully accept things are ok etc and that I’m pregnant. Just think it’s my anxiety but I want to be able to enjoy it and believe it’s all going to be ok xx

I cant fully relax either! I think that's normal after having tried so hard to get here. I have booked a private scan but it think that can be quite addictive. I'm just hoping and praying that they are growing and getting strong and that's all we can do at this stage!!xx
