We just had our 4th chemical pregnancy. Just wondering if anyone else has had successful pregnancy after failing to previously get past 5 week mark, and if so what did you do? I know it probably is just egg quality, but thought I'd ask anyway. TI

I'm sorry to hear that and it's always disappointing isn't it when you have set your heart on something only to have it result in nothing.
Is that your dog in the pic then as years ago a line manager at a previous job had a dog like that who was ruined and was very jealous when she had her son!
Ha! Yeah, he's our firstborn. Am sure he'll be fine, at this rate there'll never be a baby, so don't think he has anything to worry about just yet. Think it's down to the owner how situations like that are managed. He won't be pushed out that's for sure 😊
I had 2 transfers so far and both ended up in biochemical pregnancys. Now we are waiting for our 3rd transfer. What we did differently this time was PGS testing and ERA test. We have 3 normal blastocysts on ice. I don't have a success story to share but I am hoping that our 3rd time will be the lucky one 😁
Also I am taking tyroxine for TSH lower than 2 ( subclinical hypothyroidism).
I don't think is related entirely to egg quality so don't blame yourself for that ♥️🤞
Ahh I'm on levothyroxine too, as mine was at 4.3. We had pgs testing on the last cycle and only two embryos made it but they were both abnormal. Got my fingers crossed we get a normal one soon. I got my positive result this week, and my clinic told me to book a viability scan for 7 weeks. But I knew there was no point bothering as I knew it wouldn't last. Got my fingers crossed for you, x
Be positive don't lose your hopes. With PGS is like playing at lotto, 3rd cycle we had 1 embryo that turned up to be mosaic a 5AA (we didn't expect that as it was the only embryo) and 4th cycle from all 4 blasts 3 were normal. Change the protocol, something that you never tried before.
I am so sorry for all your losses, I understand how frustrating and upsetting it is. I am sending you a very big hug and I wish you good luck ♥️🤗
I’ve had two biochemical pregnancies (each with 2 x great grades blasts). After that I did what Ranchu90 said - ERA, PGT-A testing and a whole lot of recurring pregnancy loss panel tests. I don’t have a success story yet but hoping the FET I’ve just done is the one🤞
Anyway, I don’t think it’s down to egg quality entirely (PGT-A testing should help to determine which embryos are good), it could be uterine environment, which is where ERA comes in. I would also look at MTFHR mutation gene (I think it’s all part of the pregnancy loss panel) because the presence of this gene can increase the likelihood of miscarriage and ability to absorb folic acid (basically need folate instead). So there are really so many other things at play, it’s not just our eggs ti blame.
Wishing you the best on your journey xxx
Hi. Im sorry for your losses lovely. What does your doctor say? I had a cp and a mmc at 8.5 weeks so havent come further than that. I did increase my levothyroxine to try to keep under the 1 mark. I have also checked my vitamin d level (was low) and switched folic acid for folate just in case. Xx
I’ve had 5 chemical and 2 twelve weeks miscarriages all from spontaneous conception. In between I had a baby boy (my miracle) and then had another miscarriage and as I couldn’t go through all that again I did IVF and pgs testing and I’m currently 29 weekS
I had 3 chemical pregnancies before and no success stories so far. It's the most frustrating feeling. Sorry to hear about your loss but I don't know exactly what causes it and how to prevent it. Hope you get lucky with the next one and don't lose hope sweet.
Hi I had a chemical pregnancy on outlet first attempt which is absolutely heart wrenching to happen once let alone 4 times ! But our 2nd attempt was successful and now 35 weeks pregnant. The only thing that was different for the next cycle was they found I had a cyst which they removed and had the scratch - keep my fingers crossed your next one will be the one !
My best friend had three early miscarriages (natural conceptions) in the space of 6 months after trying unsuccessfully for 18 months. They found she had factor v liedon (a blood clotting issue, although they didn’t think it was connected). They said when she got pregnant again she was to start on clexane and progesterone immediately which she did as soon as she had a faint positive line. She’s now 18 weeks ☺️ Definitely worth being reviewed from a recurrent miscarriage perspective if you haven’t already but they did just put hers down to horrible luck so who knows whether it’s the drugs this time or whether this one was always going to stick!
I am sorry you are going through this. Have you considered improving egg quality by combining your treatment with mesotherapy treatment to ovaries or DHEA?
