Sorry to read this. I’m sure it’s come as a shock and will take you time to process. So take your time and in the meantime check out all the options available to you. I found counselling very helpful to help deal with the emotional and mental side. There are an army of warriors on here, who have a wide breath of experience. Big hugs Xx

Hi Blue lady sing,

I would like to share my story with you.

First can you give more information?

I am now 12wks pregnant and naturally conceived!! The shock!! I am so worried something will happen but I hope for the best.

So I am 39, 40 in Sept 2020. I was first tested last Oct 2019 and my FSH was 21.5 and AMH 2.97. Doctor told me doner egg will most likely be the only option. It was vey hard news to take.

My partner had to get tested and retested but his results came back good.

I was not willing to accept what he said to me, so I started my own research and from advice from a friend I went to NEO fertility March this year.

They put me on strong fish oil, 4000iui of vitamin D daily, myo inositol, methylfolate as it is easier to absorb and I ordered DHEA 50mg from america. Changed my diet work througb stuff with my partner, exercised and was happy.

Got tested again for FSH it came down to 17 the months later down to 12.

Went to see another Doc paid private and he told me I would need a miracle to get pregnant ams only a 1% chance of IVF working with my own egss and 50% of doner egg working.

I fell to pieces.

However I was pregnant a week when he was saying this to me!

Don't lose hope! Make changes! Take medicatio and keep trying! You just never know xx

Did a doctor tell you this, if so were they a fertility doctor? I hope they’ve given you other options because if they’ve just said 3% and shut the door without exploring further options like donor eggs or sperm that’s shocking, sending hugs xx

I am 44 and I think my odds are 2%. I am 13wks pregnant after ICSI. Took pregnacare conception, eat organic as much as possible and reasonably healthy. Try and do 30min exercise 5 times a week (includes just brisk walking)
