Stupid mistake with Buserilin injection

Hi all

I started my Buserilin injections on Tuesday and that first injection I felt go in..... yesterday’s injection did quite look right but I thought nothing of it at the time....

This morning I’ve gone to do it again and have realised that I hadn’t withdrawn the liquid! So luckily I tried again and ensured it went in.....

So now I’m left knowing that yesterday’s was not right and therefore have already ‘missed’ day two’s injection! I can’t tell you how annoyed I am with myself! 😡

So..... do I now do another injection at some point in the evening- 12 hours apart from my usual injection time of 7am or do I just ‘skip’ that one?

My clinic want me to have had 14 injections by the time of baseline scan but now stupid me will have only had 13!

Can help and guidance would be really appreciated xx

Defo phone the clinic and ask them. They will likely tell you to skip it but they will know best xx

Hi Luamber. One mistake shouldn't make too much of a problem, as long as the clinic know, you may have to add another one on the end, so to speak. Good luck! Diane
