Effects of meds

Anyone else feel like they are going a bit crazy on their meds??! I feel like I’m just bouncing from one round to the next and as this cycle I’m doing fresh, I’ve gone straight from stims to progesterone which I haven’t done before. Am mega hormonal so crying all the time and going hot / cold etc. Also recovering from egg collection so having to take paracetamol. Feel like I’m rattling a bit!

No advice needed really. Just said to my husband this morning that I’m not sure what’s me and what’s the medication anymore. I’m assuming a few may feel like this or am I actually just going mad??!

Xx

Promise you arent going mad!! and I really think the more rounds you do the more the drugs affect you. I have 4 fresh rounds under my belt and I completely lose sight of who I am when doing each round, and even worse back to back!

it will be worth it when you give birth to that little one!! just avoid people for the next few days and it will start to settle I promise! Masses of luck - hope you got a good haul and this is your round xx

Thank you for the reassurance 💕. I’m glad it’s not just me. I think you’re totally right. I need to avoid people for a couple of days. I cancelled seeing a few family members today because I was just a bit all over the place (as well as in pain from

EC). Just moved house and want to be up and about and sorting out the house etc but that’s just not happening! I got 8 eggs collected and by some miracle they all fertilised so we’ll see where we are by day 5. Thank you xx

ooo thats an excellent result!! well done! have you done anything different this cycle that could impact such an amazing fertilisation rate? Crossing my fingers for you x

Thank you. Have been pretty religious about my supplements which I think is the only variation. 400mg Uniquinol and 500mg of L’arginine and after extensive research I’m a bit deficient in Vit D (only as far as fertility is concerned) so I take 6000iu of that daily. As well as a pregnancy supplement and probiotic that I’ve taken for years. Who knows though, maybe the stars were in a different pattern this month or it could have been anything really!! The longer I’m on this journey, the more I think it’s mostly a numbers game. Like I say, we’ll have to see if any make it to day 5!! Xx

Well I would say sounds pretty normal!🤯🤪 I did a cracker today, walked out of our apartment today with hubby and left the key in the back of the door.😱🙈 Realised my mistake (I'm neurotic about about keys on holiday too) and was horrified....had to get a locksmith out in bloody Athens!! I'm blaming the meds!!🤣🤣 What an idiot I am!! So you're not the only one going off your head!😳🤗xxx

Oh god you poor thing, especially when you’re in Athens!! What a nightmare. Thank god it’s all sorted. Are you able to relax at all? Do you have a nice apartment? Glad it isn’t just me losing my head 😂🤯xx

I was more freaking out due to the fact my phone was inside too. Hubby had his but the air bnb was all on mine and I couldn't remember my login either. Had to sign hubby up, find the owner and send a message with a new booking to contact the host....I was FREAKING OUT!! She got back really quickly thank god and arranged a local locksmith within half an hour and it took him seconds to fix and only 30€. So yes been relaxing down the beach every day, been swimming. Nice food, toasty hot weather and yes apartment is nice thank you....back to relaxing again!🤣😂 All the best for your next update!🤞🏻🙏🏻🤗 xxx

OMG that sounds ridiculously stressful. In my current state I literally would have been in floods of tears 😭. Thank God you got it sorted. I’m surprised they didn’t have a spare key. I can’t believe you’re the first person to do that! Anyway glad all sorted. Vit D is brill so you need lots of that 😉. Enjoy the next few days of swimming and soaking up the sun (not jealous in the slightest!!) 🌞 🏊‍♀️. Good luck to you too xx

Ha ha ha I was on the verge believe me!! They did have a spare key but me in my wisdom to not lose a key usually leaves it in the lock so that's where it was....in the lock on the inside!🤦🏼‍♀️ I'm such a dick!!🙄🤣 Thanks, enjoying the sun whilst I can, scotland isnt great at the moment. Hope you're managing to rest up and relax too, even if its not in the sun.xxx

Me 🙋🏻‍♀️! I get super emotional and then I just feel off after EC when I’m on progesterone. That combined with the anxiety of getting the results call, I’m a mess. I definitely try to keep it low key during the cycle. Hope you feel better soon, but know you’re not the only one. Xx

Ahh thanks for the reassurance hun. Apparently the trick is definitely keeping it low key as you say. Think I was attempting ‘business as usual’ which has been an epic failure! Xx

This is standard for me. I'm emotional, feel unwell, exhausted, moody.... generally a nightmare to live with! :D
