I was lucky to have an NHS round of ivf but sadly ended with a BFN a couple of weeks ago and I'm looking at our next options. We're 38 and I only have one tube after Hydrosalpinx. We only got 2 eggs from the ivf round so know that while it could still happen unassisted it's very unlikely.
Our clinic does offer self funding so could just look to try again with them but want to see what other options we have too with either other ivf clinics or fertility specialists or try anything we can to improve the chances. Have been healthy food and lifestyle wise but not tried Acupuncture yet for example.
Anyone else been in a similar position? Really interested to know what others have done and if it's helped.
Finally if anyone has used a clinic, holistic fertility specialist or acupuncturist in Beds, Herts or Bucks area and had a good experience happy to get direct messages to help my Google search!
Thank you all so much in advance 😊 xx

Hi it’s ok 1st rounds of IVF do not always work I’m 3 rd round success! And I’m 32 yrs old. I do suggest asking your doctor to put you on the claratin/ pepcid & lovonox protocol this time ! All my IVF buddies love me for sharing as lovonox is proven to help with implantation of the embryo
Thanks very much, that's really helpful. I guess there are lots of protocols and you respond differently to different drugs. I'll mention that at my next appointment.
Great news on your success 😊 Really happy for you x
I know someone in Preston who already got three couples conceived although two cases of low motility on male side and only one case with stress problems on the female side. Interested?
