Hi all, I start stims this evening. Does anyone know if it’s ok for me to continue exercising?

Stims and exercise
Depends what sort of exercise. Your ovaries can get quite swollen during stims so it’s best not to do anything strenuous. I’ve always stuck to walking and light exercise but you’ll probably find in a few days you don’t have a lot of energy for much more! Good luck x
I was going to say don’t do anything that takes blood away from the uterus/ovaries. They need to be well nourished to flourish! But don’t stop moving - walking should be ok. Light weights maybe?
I was always told not to exercise during stims, gentle walking is fine, as your ovaries will be swollen and theres risk of the ovaries twisting etc, so better safe than sorry, and avoid it all together I'd say...
I think it's important to do just a bit less than you are used to. I do a lot of long distance running so I cut it back to nothing over 10km, and did less abdominal exercises but still a bit of cardio. I did more yoga and cycled every other day - as I still wanted to get my heart rate up, but just not quite as intensely as running! Good luck xx
It depends what you are currently doing now, I wouldn’t start anything new.
My normal exercise routine was running and HIIT 3-4 times a week. During stims I stopped this all together and just walked when I felt like it. I just thought this is the one time in my life that I am going to put my reproductive needs over everything else physically and mentally. But do whatever keeps you happy and sane really!! Good luck! 🙂🤞🏻🍀
