Fragile X Syndrome. In shock

And to top it all.......my twin sister has now also been tested as infertile and the consultants are concerned that there may be a genetic problem called Fragile X Syndrome. We are being genetically screened and if we are carriers it’s just game over for us. I really could just cry.

Hi. It is pre implantation genetic diagnosis. Where they remove a cell from a developing embryo from IVF/ICSI to test for genetic problems, then just the "good" ones are used to put back into the womb or store frozen. Diane
