Heat during stims??

Hi has anyone used heat pads/hot water bottle during stims?? I used it a little last time but I have heard conflicting stories so would be interested to know people's thoughts and experience xx

Hi i used hot water bottle most evenings and at night when i went to bed i ended up with 40 follicles but only got 18 eggs with only 13 mature not sure if the hot water bottle helped but i like to think it did x

Wow that's a lot 😀 I am a poor responder and low amh last time I got two eggs and only one fertilised so anything above that would be amazing. I have had a warm hot water bottle on tonight so might keep using it and hope for the best. Thanks X

I used loads of heat worked well for me got 12 eggs which was the most out of all our cycles

I used my electric blanket up until embryos transfer then they said u must not use heat but fine until then. Good luck with your treatment ahead. Lots of love xxx

I had acupuncture and she used a heat lamp on my stomach area until EC. I got lots of eggs and a bfp so it didn't do any harm! She did say not to use heat after EC so I avoided hot water bottles and baths after that - you can't help but feel paranoid you're going to do the wrong thing!

Thanks for that and yes there are so many conflicting stories. Think I will just go with using a hot water bottle and lots of hoping lol xxx

I asked my acupuncturist this afternoon about this.

She said heat is good around the stomach and also lower back area helps keep things moving apparently. 

She said after EC to not use heat but before during stimms it's supposed to be good

I've just been to chemist and bought a hot water bottle on the warmest day of the year, she looked at me like I was mad!!!
