Hi,

Im wondering if anybody knows how many weeks im classed as 14 days after 5 day transfer? Googles telling me different things, im also getting concerned as i started to feel crappy now the last 2 days i seem to feel fine and im worried somethings not right, i did a test again this morning even though my test day was last sunday, its a very strong positive but im just getting worried, my last pregnancy i felt dreadful early on so im comparing, last time ended in still birth at 34 weeks so im kind of just expecting the worst do you think im just over thinking the lack of symptoms? The clinic hasnt booked me in for a scan until 4th of august so i feel like im goibg to go mad Xx

That would make you 4 weeks and 5 days. You add two weeks before “ovulation”, then your 5 days for the embryo and it’s been two weeks since. Every pregnancy is different, I felt fine in the first trimester just a bit sleepy. Also remember it’s so early the symptoms need a wee bit of time to really get going. Congratulations and good luck! This is going to be a minefield for you I know so be kind to yourself. x

Honestly it’s absolutely no surprise at all. This is why there’s so many resources out there to support with pregnancy after loss because the anxiety is massive. Never mind adding IVF into the mix. Just need to find yourself plenty of nice distractions. I find exercise really helps I need to do something physical to get rid of all the anxiety even if it’s just a short walk or cleaning the bathroom. We have our transfer on Monday so hopefully with any luck I won’t be far behind you. x

Hiya, congratulations! I'm sorry you feel so worried. I felt exactly the same. You can use the NHS due date calculator or an IVF due date calculator which will tell you when you're due but also exactly how many weeks and days you are pregnant. Wishing you all the best and I hope you get to enjoy your pregnancy soon. I know I didn't really relax until I reached 12 weeks xxx

Agree with the others that you’re 4 weeks and 5 days. There are 14 days before you ovulate in a natural pregnancy so you need to count those, then add your 5 and 14 days from where you are now, gives you 33 days. So clinic have your scan booked for 8weeks+2 days which is around what Id expect. Congratulations! x

Hi Jf. You are considered to be 2 weeks at day of transfer, so you just work it out from there. Good luck! Diane
