Which clinic to choose?

Hi fellow warriors,

So me and my OH have received our approval NHS funding for 2 cycles of icis! Wohoo!

Now we need to make the choice between clinics. 1 being BMI in Orpington and the other Care in Tunbridge Wells. Does anybody have any experience of these clinics? If so could you PM message me your experiences. I spoke with BMI yesterday who said they would be quite a long wait and recommended Care as it was a dedicated fertility centre (found that a bit strange). I am still waiting for Care to get back to me after to calling yesterday afternoon.

I have just started with care at Tunbridge Wells

They have a better success rate then bmi Orpington , all good so far x

Thank you for your advice - we have decided to go with Care due to the figures and wait times. Have you gone private or NHS? How long do they expect it to take before your transfer? Xxx

I have gone private. I asked my gp and she said at least a year until first consultation but it’s probably different for you xx

We had our last consultation cancelled due to COVID but had a telephone consultation this week where we were approved for funding. Feel so lucky to have been most of the way through the process before COVID hit and also to have a clinic that is up and running. Have you encountered any talk of waiting lists at CARE to? So excited to just get things started 😆😆
