Hey ladies, I have been told today that I am elidgble for ivf nhs funding! Me and my partner are so thankful and can't wait to get the ball rolling!
I was just wondering if there are any dietary guidance for getting the most out of Ivf. I expect it is just to eat healthy and maintain a healthy weight but if anyone has any advice or dos and donts. I'm all ears!
Thank you! Xx

Full-fat dairy is supposed to help (ideally organic) - on my IVF cycle, initially only one of my follicles was growing, I read about trying full-fat dairy and started drinking a pint of whole milk per day and I do think it helped, the meds definitely started working better.
Ah yh I remember reading a long time ago that full fat is much better as it contains less sugar! I had a follical scan booked in for the 11th June but it's been changed to a phone call app. So will have to wait a bit longer now.
Amazing news! I remember how excited i felt getting that letter. Personally i just did what you have said, ate healthy, drank loads of water, switched to decaf coffee and cut out alcohol for about 6 weeks before. Good luck! Xx
Thank you! Yeah me and my partner have decided we will stop drinking when the time comes

I read the book "It starts with the egg". Gives advice on diet and supplements. It's quiet comprehensive - it's not necessary to do everything suggested. I took the diet tips (eat more protien, cut down on sugar etc). I felt that it really helped me. Good luck ☘
