I thought long and hard about sharing this news on here, particularly at such a difficult time for many ladies - however, I found the support of this group invaluable when I was going through treatment so want to offer some hope!!

You’ll see from my profile, my OH and I went through 6 cycles of treatment, including 3 miscarriages - always put down as unexplained or age related!! 😢This time last year we had 1 embryo remaining but had 3 attempts at transfer but my lining never got thick enough!! We’d lost all hope and were trying to come to terms with never being parents.

Then, after 4 years of TTC and age 41, we got a surprise natural BFP in Sept ‘19. After so much heartache and losses, much of the pregnancy was filled with anxiety but our precious little bundle arrived into our world just over a week ago!! 💝

For you ladies who the hospital right off purely on age, please do not loose hope - your miracle may just be round the corner!! 🤞🏻

Amazing! Congratulations to you!

This post is exactly what I needed to read today - we’ve had Multiple failed rounds of ivf and 3 miscarriages and yesterday got a BFP naturally! We’re obviously over the moon but like you, my 3 previous miscarriages are (already) causing my anxiety re. This pregnancy to be through the roof! To read that you had 3 mc’s and your 4th pregnancy was a success is music to my ears! It helps give me hope that our fourth one will have a happy ending as well!

I’m so glad my post was able to give you some hope - I remember reading sensitive posts on here thinking that’ll never be me, but here we are!!

Congratulations!! If it’s any help the best advice I was given re: anxiety was just concentrate on getting through each day at a time!! It definitely helped me - small milestones!! Best of luck and wishing you a smooth pregnancy!! xx

And yes, that’s good advice and what I’m trying to do - just get through one day at a time! It’s going to be a long 8 weeks to the 12 week scan! 😂🤦🏽‍♀️ (Assuming we get that far) 😌💓

I’m 40 I’ve had 3mmc and 2 chemicals naturally we weren’t offered fertility treatment as they think natural is still the best route for us, age is my only answer for miscarriages, although I’m losing faith my body is still capable I’m still hoping I can. I’m so pleased for you congratulations on your baby.

We were told age was our problem after several rounds of IVF, recurrent miscarriage testing and my lining failing to be thick enough 3 times!! But here we are - I was 42 when our little bundle arrived!! xx
