My husband has low motility. We are waiting to have a consultation with a clinic (we’re going private)
But I’m confused no one in my family or any friends has been through this process? And I have no one to ask?
I have found out that there is a two year scheme and other packages but do you Benefit from these? (ABC ivf- access fertility)
Me and my husband are going to do whatever it takes to have a baby we’re only in our 20s but desperate to have a family.
Is it as simple as these schemes save you money because the percentage per cycle is roughly 30/40% so we’re not expecting for it to happen on the first round and just want to save money anyway we can? Please help?
Access Fertility is definitely saving us quite a bit of money (if we don't get pregnant the next cycle that is), but if we do get pregnant next cycle then we won't care that we've paid extra! It takes a lot of the stress off - financially anyway, not generally. I know I commented on a similar post, but just wanted to say any way you can find to save money is a good idea on this journey as it is extremely expensive! xxxx
We went with access too. Although your first round may work it can also be a bit of a learning and test case!
Also get you partner to take some decent supplements or something like Proxseed as it can make a huge difference to sperm quality. Make sure he doesn’t smoke and if he drinks to stick to 14 units a week as per the guideline. Good luck x
