Hi everyone. Befor the lockdown I was reading an artical abot IVF medications and the risk of catching virus. Does anyone have any information or experiance about it? I’m planning to start fresh cycle from June and I’m starting job from June as well. I’m working in shop and I’ll have contact with handreds of custumers every day plus I have to use public transport when I travel to work and I’m so nervouse about it, because if I’ll catch the virus I have to cancel all the treatment and I was waiting so long I don’t want to lose more time. I’m still waiting tha call from my clinik to double check some staff but I’m wandering what your cliniks tald you about medications and the risk of catching the virus? Maybe it’s better to speak my meneger and just stay home befor I find out the result of the treatment?

Hey, as far as I'm aware there is no higher risk taking IVF meds for catching covid 19. There are some add on things like steroids that some patients take to lower their immune system so these arent being used at the moment but like I say those arent routine. Clinics are doing their best to minimise visits to hospitals etc. I think if you take the same precautions whilst travelling and at work that is all you can do. Good luck.xx

Hi, I am not aware of any increased risk due to medication alone . In terms of work I am looking at care work atm and have double checked with the clinic that i wont be excluded because of this kind of work but it is better to ask too many questions to the clinic than not enough I feel. My clinic will be checking temperatures/ questionniaires b4 entering the clinic, but all clinics will have slightly different H and S in place I guess x
