I’m 5dp5dt with a day 6 embryo pgd normal.
I took a trigger shot (Ovidrel) 5 days before the transfer. I’ve read that this can still be in my system and you can get false positives.
What do you think?
My last round of ivf I had what I thought was a chemical, now I’m thinking maybe it was the Ovidrel!

It could still be trigger. I have picked up my trigger at 5dp before but it could also be the beginnings of something amazing. There is no way to know. I am an early tester and at this point I always felt I had two ways of carrying on: 1) Put the tests down and wait till day 8/9 when any positive is a positive but a negative still has a small chance of being a positive ( on a FRER) orr 2) Test every morning and see if it fades. Depends, whether resisting/not knowing will make you more stressed than the stress of testing everyday. For my next transfer, I am not going to test till day 8 ( I say this now butttt hahah) Realllllllly hoping this is your time. xxxx

Geez you are very strong if you can last that long, I spend so much money on frers haha. I have decided to take option 2 and test every morning. It was darker again this morning at 7dpt. I’m not getting excited as I went through this 1 year ago and I thought I was pregnant, then suddenly the line began to fade. I just wish I knew what dpt that was!
I haven't actually done it yet. hahaha. I spend tons of money on frers too. I turn into absolute animal during 2ww. I just don't have any willpower when it comes to testing. Good news it is looking stronger but I understand your caution as that happened to me on my last transfer. I'll keep the hope over here for you though. xx
Haha I love it, I can’t believe I just throw my money away so easily, Id be rich if I put all that money into savings for the last 2 years! I still have a solid line at 8dpo but not rejoicing yet, I’m not sure we will be able to rejoice until we see a live birth after what we’ve been through

It might still be the trigger but it’s quite a decent line for 10 days after you triggered. Only way to know for sure is to test again in a couple of days and see if the line is lighter or darker. Good luck! Xx
Looks like a great line but I have also still had bfps due to trigger up to 6dp5det- really hoping it’s great news for you but I would wait a few days before testing again! good luck xx
Thankyou everyone for your replies. I will keep testing every day to see if it fades haha. The line was the same this morning, but interestingly the Internet cheapie showed a decent line this morning whereas yesterday there was no line at all! And my coffee tastes like toilet water, that is a really good sign for me

I tested 7dp 5det and had a BFP , faint line though, DH suggested I should wait until hospital test date (I don't think he understands anxiety enough, lol) I tested again 10dp, still BFP, darker line. It was a BFP with my Beta also. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. I pray you come back with good news.

How many dpt are you now? I’m now 7dpt and the line is getting darker. I’m still not getting excited just yet as I am reading that it takes up to 14 days for the trigger shot to leave your system. I think if it’s positive on day 9pt I’ll feel a little more at ease. Argh I’ll have to keep myself busy! Have you had your blood beta hcg drawn yet?

Right now I'm 3 weeks along ( 21dpt). You have to keep a bright outlook, if it's the trigger shot,the line should be getting fainter. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you there's a bright ray of sunshine for you. You can hold off the testing until 10dpt, then it will be sure. Baby dust to you.
Congratulations you must be over the Moon! How long have you been trying for? Is this your first? To be honest, I’m really not that strong and am still testing every morning, I’m a sucker for punishment. I’m 8dpo and the line is still solid. I remember now that our last ivf transfer I had a line right up until my period, but it did start to fade, my beta hcg blood draw was 25 I think. I still can’t tell if that number was from the trigger shot or a chemical? They had to pgs test my embryo twice as they mucked it up the first time they sent it away, I believe they took too many cells out of it. This time they just tested the culture medium so my embryo looked perfect and hatching!
If the line is getting darker, then it’s definitely a BFP!
Sounds like you had a chemical last time, the trigger wouldn’t still be on your system by the time you have bloods xx
Thankyou, I wasn’t completely sure. The line is the same today, so a little nerve racking. The internet cheapie looks a little darker though. Argh I’m driving myself mad haha
I tested at 7dpt and it was like your test, i was worried it was from the trigger too but I now have a 5 month old. Good luck to you on your journey ✨🙏🏼
