6DP5DT: Trigger shot or BFP???

Hello all,

I'm new here and just wanted a little clarity from anyone who has had a similar experience.

Today I am 6DP5DT and I'm confused as to whether I still have a trigger trace or if this is pregnancy. Image attached but heres a little breakdown.

- Triggered with 10,000 iu Zivafert on Wednesday 8th Jan 8:30pm

- Egg collection on Friday 10th January

- Fresh 5 day embreyo transfer on Wednesday 15th January

- This makes today 13 days post trigger shot

- Official test day - AM of Monday 27th January

I promised I wouldn't be an early tester but I couldn't help myself. I've found the TWW really difficult to switch off. I have noticed my 2nd urine test of the day usually is a bit darker. I haven't used a First Response or Clear Blue yet and I don't intend to until my OTD for a definite answer.

4DP5DT the line is very faint, almost can't see it but it is there.

The blank test strip right at the bottom is one I've done about 20 minutes ago (6DP5DT 2nd pee) and I have indicated which was my 1st and 2nd pee of the day.

I'm keeping myself as grounded as possible and I'm not going to share any results with my husband until OTD. IVF takes the surprise element out of concieving so I'd like to surprise him if it was a true positive after OTD.

Any guidance?

I'm really praying so. I feel like my time is running out and this was an NHS funded cycle. I had low egg count too. My only embreyo, a grade 2 which is apparently very good quality. Currently aren't experiencing any side affects x

I didn’t have any symptoms until at least 6 weeks 🙏🙏 hang in there, the lines look good 🍀🍀

Thank you, I'm disappointed in myself for testing early but who the heck doesn't when they go through IVF.

Hello lovely.

If it was the trigger shot I would expect them to be getting lighter but they are most definitely getting darker.

Quiet congratulations 🥰 xx

Thank you, I am really praying and hoping it's finally my turn after all the struggles 🤞🏼🙏🏼🍀 now I'm feeling all out of sorts because do I keep testing or leave it for the rest of the week. I just couldn't help not testing. x

It's looking good! A 10,000 trigger shot generally takes 11 ish days to leave your system.

Personally, last time I tested every day (sometimes twice) and it was stressful because every day I was freaking out about the lines getting lighter but when I put them all together at the end it was the most beautiful line progression - I'd love to frame it! xx

That's kind of what confused me, whether a 10,000 iu trigger took longer. They threw everything at me. Highest dose of stims etc, down regulation, but my body didn't respond well. I was fine, no side affects besides a migraine for a couple of days anf fatigue but I only produce 3 follicles with 1 egg fertilised so my hopebwas pretty much gone. Praying so hard this is my little miracle. I'm busy travelling tomorrow now and it means it's unlikely I'll get to test, which will play on my mind no doubt xx

Thank you, this is now proving to be the slowest week possible. OTD is next week, Monday 27th Jan. I don't know how I'm going to get through the next few days x
