Shorter Period for the first time ever !

Hi Lovelies - I have always had a 26-28 day period. I noticed this morning that I started having cramps and it saw drops of blood in my urine also. It's only day 21. Does this mean my last cycle is a 21 day cycle ? It feels strange because I have always had between 26 and 28 day cycles. I am 36 years. Has anyone had this sudden change in cycle length before ? What could have caused it ? Just confused. Thanks.

Hi, I'm not sure but it could possibly be stress that's caused it? Is it a normal period? Mine were controlled with meds but the period before IVF I only bled for 2 days, where I normally bleed for 4 to 5. Xx

Hi, yes, it is a normal period. Normal flow and all, just confused as I have never had a period cycle less than 26 days.

Hey, I think it's fine! Maybe you just had a stressful period in your life. I usually have 26 day periods, but sometimes even 31 day ones. You'll have to wait till the next period, it must stabilize and get back to your normal regime. Don't worry x

I am experiencing the same thing

Really unsure when I ovulated now as I didn’t do the sticks this month

It’s not come on properly

I am still hoping it implantation but been a few days and my temp was low today

Yes, I was trying this month but it's just come on full force and it's now definitely a period, sadly. xx

Sorry AF has arrived, this is really common after an ivf cycle... my cycles are often all over the place for a couple of months and then settle down into a ‘new normal’ it’s very confusing - even my PMS symptoms have completely changed over the years! 🤷🏼‍♀️
