Wild garlic when pregnant

Currently 16 weeks after treatment (yay!). Anxiety currently through the roof. Ate a lot of wild garlic last 2 days as thought it was good for but had terrible stomach upset today and read that it's actually maybe bad for the baby!! Anyone else know anything? Sorry. Random one.

Congratulations on your pregnancy!

I am 20 weeks 4 days and also had some wild garlic recently, it didn't affect my stomach, but I didn't eat loads just some steamed with dinner a couple of times over last week. I've had my 20 week scan since and my little boy is healthy and happy!

I've not seen anything about it being bad for pregnancy, maybe it's not recommended as it's wild and there is a plant that can be mistaken for it which is not edible!? I don't think wild garlic is as strong as normal garlic and normal is fine! But I have read too much normal garlic can cause heartburn, so maybe you just over did it a bit. Also don't forget your insides are starting to get squashed now, I've noticed some stomach upset if I eat too much now or if I eat apples!

It really is difficult at the moment not to worry about everything, I was so nervous going for my scan last week but all was fine x
