Good morning my lovely ladies.
I come to you with some good news praise the Lord.
As you will see from my other posts, I was due an operation yesterday for a llettz procedure under GA to remove my CIN2
with all of the current worry and pandemic I've had a very stressful anxiety filled week wondering if it will go ahead, I'm so relieved to say that it went ahead.
All went well, I was asleep for less than an hour and I woke up feeling the best I ever have from anaesthetic. This morning I've got a bad stomach, very much like a period pain but I'm fine. I've got a smear now in 6 months and praying for the all clear so that we are cleared for IVF.
Im feeling so positive this morning, like a small weight has been taken off my shoulders and I'm ready for the next chapter.
I would advise all of you girls to recommend this procedure under a GA. it was quick, smooth, easy, they use a different type of anaesthetic for this procedure as you're not asleep for long so I woke up with no side affects, i wasn't freezing and I didn't feel sick like I have the last times
Oh and just an update, I was really nervous about the cannula going in my hand, it hurt like a b.... Last time, I told them I was nervous about it but they assured me a smaller cannula was needed due to not being asleep for very long, I needn't have worried, I felt a small scratch but it was pretty painless, maybe my anaethesist this time was more experienced so there's an extra bonus there....
Stay safe out there ladies, lots of love to you all xxxx
PS - Ive attached a little photo of me, I'd been awake 5 minutes but I was as high as a kite, hope it will make you all giggle...
