Hi everyone I am totally stressing out. I got a BFN on OTD and stopped taking all medication on Sunday evening. My period is now 7 days late so I tested this morning and BFP.

Should I restart the meds? Could it be a false positive?

Any advice greatly appreciated xx

Oh wow! That's amazing news! Clearly you're just a late one! These OTDs aren't a one-size fits all! Bet you're on a countdown right now to call your clinic! Congratulations! xxxx

Thank You for the support everyone

They have only just answered after me trying for 30 mins. They are going to speak to the doctor and ring me back as the nurse doesn’t know what to do in this situation. They suggested asking my GP to be 2 HCG blood tests.

My stress is through the roof xx

Sorry to hear about your negative I know how heartbreaking it is.

Since stopping the meds I have still had stomach cramps, a headache since Monday morning and some brown spotting. The lower back pain and breast soreness and shooting pain has stopped cx

The clinic has advised to restart my meds straight away and have 2 HCG tests done. I can pay them £60 each test or have it done at my GP surgery for free if they are willing to.

I feel like bursting out crying with all the stress.

The day of transfer we received a call to say our only fertilised egg had slowed down and wasn’t a Blastocyst so transfer was cancelled. We requested an appointment with the Dr and embryologist later that day. When we arrived at the clinic the embryo had developed into an early stage blast but the consultant wasn’t happy to transfer it without grading it. Against his will he agreed to transfer it but the chances were very low.

This whole experience has been the most stressful and draining to then get a BFP this morning but we do not dare to believe it’s real xx

First of all, congrats!

I would say pay the clinic, I doubt you’ll get a GP app with things the way they are today so as you’re already stressed, it’s £120 well spent.

Really hope it continues to be good news. Sounds like a little fighter xx

Fingers crossed for you x

Wow! Hoping it comes out good. I think some embryos take longer to stick and produce enough hCG.

Wow this is amazing, what a fighter you have. I’m so sorry for all the stress though. Are you in London by any chance? There’s a bunch of places you can get a same-day blood pregnancy test and you get the results in about 2hrs. I paid £45. (btw, we are on exactly the same timeline!)

Thank you everyone for the lovely messages of support. I have a HCG test booked for Monday AM.

I am back on the meds and the clinic seem positive. Feeling nervous and excited at the same time after thinking it was all over, we now have a ray of hope but trying to not get carried away

Good luck to anyone going through this process xx
