I am worried. I visited the clinic yesterday for pregnancy test. I thought they do hcg blood test as well turns out they don’t. She said because the line is faint, she gave me two test sticks to take home to test in one week time. She also gave me a prescription for 84 cyclogest pessaries.
I have already used the test sticks this morning and I have asked my husband to get me more test kits from Tesco at 6am.
I am really worried. Has anyone had similar experience? Help me please. I really feel hopeless.

So sorry you're feeling so worried. You must be feeling such a huge mix of emotions in such a short space of time. I know much easier said than done but try not to panic. Hcg hormone climbs at different rates for every woman, at different dpt/dpo and you wouldn't expect your tests today to be any darker than yesterday. It can take 48-72 hours for the level of hcg to make a notable climb so that's probably why your clinic have recommended waiting a week so that you'll see a definitive dark positive 🤞 ...heck though, I can't imagine any woman going though this could wait another full week to check 🙈
The best advice I could offer is consider whether continuing to test before next week is right/comforting in any way for you or your Husband. If so - get through as many tests as you need. If it's causing you more distress then remember you can take control back by choosing not to test until a specific date. Look after each other. Keeping my fingers crossed for you 🍍 xx
Hi Seb, can you do a blood test privately? I definitely would as waiting for another week is going to be looooong! Poor you! 🙈🙈🙈I had my first HCG when I was 13dp5dt so you could easily have one - and another one 2 days later...something to consider?
Sending you love ❤️✨🤞🏻And keeping my fingers crossed!
I live in Birmingham. I don’t know any places that do blood test checks. I would definitely do if I could find one it is definitely worth the money. Do you know any even if it is outside Birmingham I would consider.
