Can you still take dhea and ubiquinol

Just a quick one - should I still be taking dhea and ubiquinol whilst stimmimg?

Any advise would be welcome thanks xx

Hey, I'm not sure about dhea, but ubiquinol I was told to stop before transfer, or you can stop at egg collection 😘 xx

Yes keep taking DHEA while stimming I stopped after egg collection. Good luck x

You need to stop taking dhea my consultant stopped me taking it before we started the injections as they have testosterone in them. He told me if I was taking them and I became pregnant and had a girl she would have more testosterone in her body which could lead to problems. Xx

Thanks for telling me this - I had never heard of that. I had made the decision to stop taking it. There’s been so much conflicting advise online about it but it makes sense not to carry on whilst stimming. Xx

My consultant put me on them for 3 months prior to starting ivf to try and improve my egg quality and told us to use condoms in that time so it does make sense, good luck xx
