Isn’t it strange? You spend your whole fertility journey wishing your period would never turn up, yet when it’s all your waiting on to start your next IVF cycle you just want it to hurry up!
I’m about to embark on my second IVF cycle after having an unsuccessful first round with nothing to freeze.
I finished Norethisterone 3 days ago, and feel like my period is coming tomorrow. I feel a weird mixture of sadness, relief, worry and determination. Like you all I want so much for this to work.
Do I have any short cycle buddies that will be going through this around the same time?

Omg yes! If only 🙈 ive been literally flitting between wishing it would hurry itself up but also hoping it wouldn’t arrive all day! Ahhh such a nightmare!
I was you last week! Period was due Thursday, thought she had arrived Friday so had baseline scan but then it dried up!! Finally Sunday night all hell broke loose and I started my stims yesterday and EC already pencilled in for week tomorrow. This is my fourth round. Hope all hell breaks loose for you tomorrow and you can start too 🤞🏻Good luck! xx
I feel your pain. Took my last Provera dosage last Sunday, and nothing since! Pushed back my baseline scan & nurse appt. Going in today to see if my lining is thick enough. Bored of all the setbacks 😬. Wishing you lots of luck! Xx
me and a friend who has gone through IVF had a good chuckle about this a few months ago lol we have literally spent the last few years either willing our period to hurry up to get started again or wishing and praying for it to never come at all! Crazy! We were also laughing at how much our lives and planning of events/holidays now revolve around our blooming period and cycle timings but how to you tell other that haha! Hope it comes soon and you can go into full on planning/IVF mode xx
