Hi Run4ever. I must say, I tend to agree with your GP, as any excess lubrication in that tube can only leak into the womb, which could prevent implantation of a developing embryo. You might need monitoring too, as to see which ovary is ovulating, so that the IUI would be done at the correct time. Most clinics like to either clip or remove a hydrosalpinx before continuing with treatment. Lots to think about. Good luck! Diane
Thanks Diane that’s good to know. Yes i believe they like to remove or clip prior to treatment which makes sense. I wish he had just taken it out when he saw it as i would have signed consent prior if he asked. Just feel like this journey is never going to end and hasn’t even begun! I really don’t want more surgery 😩 Thanks very much
