10dp5dt- BFP!! I’m in shock! See pic need advice please ladies

Good Morning ladies....well this morning at 6am woke up and since I needed to pee I thought I’d test....OMG the second line came up almost instantly 😍but I worry that it’s not dark enough! I’ve attached a picture....can you please tell me what do you think? My clinic opens at 9am so will be calling the nurse and asking for a beta on Monday. I’ve restocked on tests so will keep doing them...I’m a bit scared 🙈...and in complete SHOCK! I can’t believe it’s real! 🍀🤞🏻🍀🤞🏻🍀🤞🏻

Don’t worry about anyone else’s line! This is your line and it’s perfect. Everyone has different levels of hcg at this point so some might be a bit darker, some might be a lot lighter but a line is a line 😘♥️

Guys!!! I so understand...last night I was rehearsing in my head how to tell my mum it’s another bfn...this morning I didn’t even want to test as I was too scared. Then I thought: fxxx it, we got a plan B. If it’s not this time it will be next. Yes it is a strong line (I guess stronger ones you saw were likely to be twins). I have never had a beta test before and my clinic hasn’t mentioned one. Which clinic are you with? X

My clinic is the Lister in London- is your clinic in London too? A friend of mine recommended it to me and I must say it’s really great, considering my previous one was in Harley Street!(not too shabby ahahah) xx

Lister is really good. I am researching into Lister, Argc and CRGH. Haven’t decided whether to change clinic but likely. My clinic is in Bristol which is about an hour away from me. I am not particularly happy with them. X

Another friend of mine went to CRGH and got pregnant on her second cycle (then she conceived naturally twice after! Unbelievable! She now has 3 kids) - what is that makes you unhappy with your current clinic? X

A friend of mine (same age as me so 41) is doing ivf together with me at the the same clinic and our protocol is exactly the same. While I have no known fertility issues, my friend has all sorts. What’s more they only scan me twice during the stimming phase and no blood test. Everything was done in a rush with a nursery apart from the initial consultation. Then the embryologist didn’t tell me anything about my embryos, no grading nothing. And the fertilisation rate is very low and they said on day two that “oh maybe we should have used ICSI”. Then why didn’t they!! I tried asking him for grading but he gave me some lame excuse of not having the details in front of him. What I need is a very aggressive clinic that will do everything they can to give me the best chance of pregnancy. I’d rather risk having twins than having no baby at all.

Wow they seem quite unprofessional, I’m so sorry to hear you’re having such bad experience Pudding. Please feel free to ask me anything you’d like to know- of course even privately. I also have no known fertility issues, and so has my husband. We did ICSI because we wanted to control the fertilisation process, it was our suggestion and the clinic agreed.

Aww congrats., The line looks strong to me ( it’s still very days) I think we all worry if we get a bfp it’s almost like we can’t believe it’s happened - I couldn’t help but think my pregnancy was too good to be true until my 8 month old daughter arrived. My blood test isn't until Wednesday. I will keep testing too! I have been testing since 5 days post transfer.. seeing something that looks like a line today gives me some hope. Fingers crossed

Hi Issylove. I in fact did a home test 3 day ago on my 10dp5dp as I couldn’t wait one more day to go to the clinic for my beta. I was also surprised to get a faint line just as you did. On my 11dp5dt I got a beta of 1000 and I was even more suprised and got even scared of such a huge beta since I only had one embryo transfer.

My doctor told me that I don’t need to test more and I will have a sonogram next week to see if they can see the gestanional sac. So nervous as I think such a high beta may be a problem.

Has anyone had a first very high beta?
