Had my first donor egg transfer today, already hating the fact that I have the actual 2ww ahead of me, isn’t it vile!

Is anyone else at the very start of the 2ww?

Hi I just started my 2ww yesterday. I’m planning on watching lots of comedies to help get me through this time.

Have you taken some time off work?

In my first attempt I just stayed at home but by day 5 I had lost my mind.

I’ve just been for a walk with the dogs and already feeling better.

Yes I’m off work, as my job is so stressful I wanted to be away from it. I’m having the first couple of days resting but then I’ll start doing a bit more.

My only ivf 2ww that stuck (then failed) I could feel implantation cramps from 2dp, so I’m anxiously hoping for the same (ridiculous as every 2ww has different symptoms!).

Really does make you crazy!xx

Oh good luck!! How are you managing, are you off work?

I’m driving myself mad as my last transfer (that failed) I had strong implantation cramps at 2dpt (same as I am today!) and a faint positive by 4dpt... this time I haven’t had a single twinge.

I’m incredibly lucky that I actually have twins from my third fresh round of IVF so I never actually went back to work, however I’m certainly not able to take it easy 🙈😂 I do feel guilty in this 2ww as I’m not able to just rest and put myself first. However what will be will be.

I had period type pains until yesterday but I can’t remember if I had those before 🤷🏽‍♀️ I’m pretty sure when I fell with the twins I had no symptoms so try not to worry.

Oh what a dream, I’d love twins. We have decided I won’t go back to work if I get a pregnancy that sticks, I get so stressed out at work that we have decided what’s best. Let’s hope we have that issue! Congratulations on having twins and I hope this transfer works for you! 🤞🏼🍀

Twins are great and I am so incredibly lucky as my Fertility journey was relatively short compared to some of the amazing ladies on here.
