Day 3 embryo update

So out of the 5 mature eggs collected and injected on Friday we were told on Saturday two had fertilised. I was feeling a little downhearted as had hoped for 3 or more and was worried whether one or both would make it to today. The weekend felt like it went on forever! Thankfully the clinic has called nice and early and told me both have been busy dividing away and are looking very healthy! So relieved and pleased to get to the next step. Hoping for more good news tomorrow and to go in Wednesday for transfer. Wishing everyone else at the same stage lots of luck for your calls today xxx

It really is! I was actually fine throughout treatment but have found the period after egg collection the toughest emotionally. And each step you get past is a moment of relief followed by further worry that you won’t make it to the next one! Have you had your call yet? X

Awww I'm pleased to hear your two little embies are going strong. Completely understand you're disappointment but come on those 2 little fighters!! Good luck for transfer!xx
