Best of luck, beginner. It depends on your clinic and your age (unfortunately). Have you checked your clinic's website or HFEA? It'll be less than 50%, but don't lose heart. If someone told you your chances of winning the lottery were even 10%, they would sound like good odds!
Hi beginner. All I would say is that when you read your clinic's success results and the HFEA, they are roughly 2 years old, as it takes that long for a pregnancy and to collate results. If you can get to a blastocyst transfer, you have a 50-60% chance of it working first time. Try not to get too hung up on results, just focus on you getting the best out of your cycle. Thinking of you. Diane
So I’m 6 weeks just waiting for my scan 12 more days to go, I’m 31 , an endro suffer was trying for 10 years always wanted to be a mum my little +++a 6 day embro is staying put so far so good 🤞 first time lucky still early days ivf is one of the hardest things I have ever gone through but will be so worth it the day I hold my baby good luck it not an easy thing to go though .
Well In the end I left work not everyone does but as my job is full on I needed to chill you need a lot of time off for the clinic appointments and you might need counselling I was was with the nhs were you have it recommended, the hardest is the hormones you don’t feel yourself the needles didn’t bother me but you can’t go far in the evenings as you got a 3 hour window we’re you need to inject, the bloating is very hard your clothes don’t fit so get lots of comfort clothes side affects are different for everyone but I was just tired all the time that still hasn’t changed 🤣 the weighting game is hard I was so lucky I produced amazing eggs but I know someone I was speaking to going through the same things at the same time and non of her eggs made it past 3 days it’s really hard but for me to see that test saying pregnant it was all worth it but I can see if it didn’t how you would definitely need time and really good friends and partner to support you xx
Thank you for messaging, after a little research, some one my questions has been answered, we received our initial consultation summary today. My AMH count is 28.1 which I guess isn’t to bad for my age? (31)
I checked out the HFEA which was really interesting. so thanks for mentioning that.
Is there anything else worth knowing at this stage?
Looking forward to getting my dates so I have something to look forward to
Hey! I’m in NI. Got my letter yesterday that we have reached top of the list for ivf. I’ve to call tomoro and make the first apps, and arrange for blood screening.
I’m cd 14 atm I wonder is it gonna be impossible to get all this done before my next period in two weeks, or I’d it will be the next cycle?
