How long to wait for next period

I had embryo transfer in Nov 2019 which sadly didn’t work, withdrawal bleed from Nov 13th which was very heavy and nothing since , still waiting for my next period. How long has anyone else waited for next period or cycle to return to normal ?

Sorry to hear about your failed cycle. After some of my failed treatments my periods returned to normal almost immediately, give or take a couple of days. However I have had a couple where I went almost 7 weeks with no bleed - everyone is different so no right or wrong answer. I would say that if you dont bleed soon - perhaps give it another week then I would contact your clinic to see if they suggest checking anything out.xx

I was the same as you albeit I had a chemical pregnancy from my last FET. Withdrawal bleed 3 days after stopping the meds then nothing for 49 days!! It will come eventually. I think everything is just a bit out of sync from all the hormones etc x

Hi zobot. It is quite usual to take 2-3 months following a failed cycle. Fingers crossed not too long to wait now. Diane
