How long to wait until next ivf cycle.

Hiya everyone.

After the bad news on Friday night I spoke with our clinic on Saturday morning.

They have booked us in for our review appointment on the 10th of August.

I also discussed with the nurse how long I have to wait until we can try again. We didn't have any embryos left from this cycle.

How long did you all wait after a failed attempt?

I don't want to rush it but don't want to wait too long.

Hi Mrsgled1982 I had my first failed Icsi short protocol ivf in February and was told I had to wait 6 months to try again. We also had no embryos left.

We were told it takes up to 6 months for your body to recover. Trying again in October.

Only managed to get 4 eggs last time and only 1 fertilised. Poor ovarian reserve with a very low amh!!!

On the phone the nurse said next cycle after this one. I'd did think that was quick but i didn't realise it took that long to get back to normal. I don't have normal cycles due to my pcos xx

Ahh ok. I think most clinics do things differently. It's just so frustrating. Hope it goes well for you Hun. Fingers crossed 🤞 xx

Hi,

I was told 3 months between FET cycles and 6 months between fresh. Good luck for you apt, hopefully your clinic will give you all the answers x

I was told 1mth for fet and 3mths for fresh...its shocking it's so different! xx

It depends strongly on your body and clinics time.

Sometimes 1\3 (FET, IVF), 2\4, 3\6...

Anyway not faster than 2 months for fresh.

If you wish to have appropriate result.

P.S.: in my case I should recover health for 3 months even before starting any procedures.

P.P.S.: will think about some non traditional medicine, after doc`s consultation, just to increase my chances.
