LABETALOL & PREGNANCY

Hi Community,

I’m super happy to say I am 6 weeks pregnant after having our 1st round of ICSI ET and my hubby and I are so excited and thankful.

I’ve recently been prescribed this as for the first time in my life, I have HBP. They definitely have brought my pressure right down which I’m so grateful for and I know LabL is apparently safe in pregnancy for that reason. However, as I’ve never been on medication, I worry that it may affect the unborn baby in some way as they seem quite strong.

Has anyone taking labetalol high blood pressure medication throughout their pregnancy and did everything go okay?

Thank you ❤️

Hi Faith-Hope. All I can say, is that it is the preferred drug to take during pregnancy. You should be closely monitored, in case you can reduce the dose further on. Lovely to hear of your pregnancy, and I wish you well throughout. Diane
