I had 2 blastocyst embryos transferred on 7th November and was told by my clinic to test on 16th (yesterday). It’s was Bfn, but lots of people have been saying that’s to early to test as most clinics say test on day 12. Or they tested on day 10 got bfn then on day 14 got bfp. I’m so confused 😕. I’ve carried on meds until I can speak to my clinic

Blastocyst transfer
My clinic say to test 13dp5dt I usually can’t wait that long and have tested 7-9 days post transfer and got an accurate result..it hasn’t changed although I’ve seen that some ladies here have had late positives. I’m sorry it’s a bfn it sounds sensible to speak with your clinic before stopping meds..they might want you to retest in a day or 2 xx
Thank you .Yes I’ll be calling them tomorrow and I’ve carried on with the meds. I’m not feeling hopeful but I never do.
I transferred on the 8th November and my OTD is Wednesday so 12dp5dt..but I have heard of some clinics testing as early as 9dp. I would def speak to clinic before stopping meds though just to make sure they don't need a blood test to check first or anything xo
Results for blood tests will be quite accurate by 9dpt, however for urine tests it should be 12dpt (and some clinics want it to be done on 14dpt). Although some women get a true result when testing earlier, others don't - my sister was one of them. At 12dpt she thought she was out of the game, but the clinic asked her to try again on day 14, she then got her BFP and now has a healthy 1 year old son. I'd definitely check with your clinic, as sometimes there isn't enough hormone in the urine yet until a few days later.
Hi Jod. Hoping you got better news today. Thinking of you. Diane
