Serial early testers -- coping methods to resist?

Hey ladies

I am DETERMINED not to test early this time. Got to be able to hold it together fourth time round, right? Anyway, I feel really nervous about the 2ww as I find them really hard so I though I would reach out to my fellow frer addicts and find out what methods you have to stay away?

No real advice here other than don’t have any in the house. I binned all the old strip ones I had at home for my 2nd cycle. For me the urge to test is more of an in the moment thing so if I had the pause of having to go and buy one I could reign it in. Good luck xx

I’m so glad you’ve asked this, I never test early, but this is my third round and I’m really struggling this time!! OTD Isn’t until next Thursday, but am going one day early as OH is away with work on Thursday and I don’t fancy dealing with a BFN on my own!! However he’s also away working this weekend so I think I’ll listen to Solly’s advice and give him all the tests to take with him!!! Hopefully out of sight out of mind lol!! X x

Good advice above - don’t have any tests or give them to your OH to keep. All it takes is a 2 min slip and you’ll be testing too early and could be dressing yourself out for no good reason ..,, I did! Should have given them to my OH.

Hey. Could you check the dates of people’s posts because after failed cycles it can be quite distressing to be reminded of a hopeful time already passed. Thank you x

I thought the same last comment was recent. Perhaps you should delete your post in case other people make the same error? I know it’s distressing, I’ve been there too. X
