I’ve found it mixed. I think there’s a general lack of understanding (I’ve had ppl try to change my due date -which doesn’t change with ivf) but also I’ve had some really sensitive care. I had an appointment with obstetrician the other day which I found quite traumatic as she was making me explain again the whole history and her manner/questions were insensitive. After IVF all the physical stuff has been a walk in the park. IVF makes us warriors I think! X
I was treated the same as any other pregnant woman which did mean they changed my due date in my second pregnancy. Only by 2 days but it’s something that still bothers me
Mine was pretty good. She was aware that I’d be more anxious and referred me to support groups. I think you just have to be very frank about your situation. Good luck xx
