Currently sat in the EPU after waking up with pains on my left side again.. It was painful enough that I couldn’t ignore.
I have finally been scanned and was so pleased to see a strong healthy heartbeat💓 my baby measured exactly as it should but by the look on the sonographers face I knew all was not well.
I have fluid free around my left tube/ovary.... and she now suspects a ‘Heterotopic’ pregnancy... meaning one baby inside the womb and possibly one inside the tube. (We had two embryos transferred)
I have been told alllllll the worse case scenarios which can and can’t affect my healthy pregnancy... including a emergency laparoscopy 😩🥺😭😢
I’m so glad I came in.
I’m not to sure what to think at present, but I am trying to stay positive whilst waiting to see the gynaecologist and hear what they have to say.😩😭
Please keep your fingers crossed for us.. x

Sending you lots of well wishes! A colleague of mine had the same thing. They ended up removing the baby outside and she went on to have a healthy pregnancy and delivery. Stay positive and praying for you in the meantime ❤️
I’m finally back home now and still none the wiser really about the fluid.
After the hospital gynaecologist contacted my private consultant they decided to leave things as they were and to re-scan in two days to see if things have got worse or fluid has been absorbed.
So another waiting game until such time. I’m pleased I wasn’t rushed into having a laparoscopy as I wasn’t prepared mentally for that.
Thankyou all for your kind words... please don’t uncross those fingers and toes just yet, we still need them x 😩😊
Still a bit numb right now... but I’ve been power reading on G👀gle to find some positive outcomes from similar situations.
Apparently a heterotopic pregnancy can be treated with minimum risk/disruption to the uterine pregnancy
I think the only thing comforting me right now is seeing that heartbeat going sooo strong. I know things can change for the worse but I also know once there is a healthy heartbeat we still have a good chance.
😩🙃
I’ll definitely have a update for you all on Wednesday x
🥺😢 I’ve been holding bk all day but you’ve finally made me fill up..... 😭that’s so sweet of you. It’s so nice to know others are rooting for us as well as us rooting for ourselves.
Thank you so much.. of course you’ll be the first to know whatever the outcome😩or management (as they doctor said) 🤭🥺the word ‘management’ sounded sooo serious..
Awww no, dont! You'll get me going too! I know what a hellish time you've had......hoping you get your happy ending! Management sounds ok from what I've been reading. Lots of love & hugs.xxx
Awe Thankyou... I’m feeling good today... not a ache or pain in sight!!! And I’ve really been checking lol ☺️ slightly nervous but looking forward to tomorrow... x
Oh my goodness this must be so stressful. Well done you for recognising that something wasn’t right and going in. I hope Wednesday brings good news 🤞🤞 xx
