1st Follicle Scan .. results

Hi All,

Can’t believe how fast it is all going now .. went for 1st Scan today and already the clinic are talking about potential trigger injection this evening! Wow .. that’s gone quickly (even if I’m all over the place on my hormones!) ..

Has anyone else had there EC brought forward by a week?

Results of scan :

Day 7 of injections today ...

8 follicles (not the 6 they originally thought) ..

Sizes range from less than 8mm up to 21mm (there is only one that size) ...

Everyone seems so different in how many follicles they have etc ... 43yo and holding onto the dream to be mum 🙏🏼 xx

Hey Kiers 27!

I’m Day 7 of stimming today too!! Wow that’s quick!

My lining was 9mm. Follicles 14mm,12mm,10mm and a couple 3-5mm. Not many 😬. Talk of me triggering Saturday night but I think it might still be too early. I’m back Friday for another scan. I waited 90mins to see the nurse today, then promptly burst into tears 🤣, think it’s fair to say my hormones are all over the show too!!!

Are they going to call you tonight?

Arwwww bless you ... being teary is definitely the hormones. Bless you... hope she was kind and gave you a hug.

Clinic called and they are the scanning me Friday now so normal Menopur stim injection for tonight.

Clinic have just called me, Oestrodil levels aren’t high enough (only 600?) so upping my menopur to 300 for 2 nights then back Friday!

Hey thanks for your update .. that should sort them out and give them a good boost. Sure it will be higher with a higher dose ....

I’m on 450 a day atm ... at 43 I need all the help they can give me I think 😚 ... look forward to hearing on Friday how it goes.

My AMH is also low ... predicted only 4 eggs at most. Praying that it only takes one hey .. good luck for tmw and hope to hear from you how it goes xx
