Just been to the loo and there is red blood. Not lots but enough.

I wouldn’t be as panicked if it was brown blood.

Thoughts anyone?

I’m waiting on the clinic calling me back but at 5 weeks there’s really nothing they can do x

I had bleeding with both full term pregnancies. I lost red fresh blood with clots at 10 weeks with my daughter . I also bled heavily red blood at 7 weeks with my son.

Sometimes women can bleed in pregnancy & go onto to have a healthy baby.

I was advised to bed rest until it stopped by a doctor.

I hope it eases up & all is okay xxx

Thanks Jess. It’s seems to have eased a bit, i’m just a bit worried it’s the start of a period and this is the calm before the period storm. Too early for a scan but they’ll do bloods on Monday and check levels🤞 x

Don’t panic I had this at about the same stage and it turned out to be ok. Wait and see what the clinic say. It might not last long and you could be totally fine so try not to panic. It’s horrific I know I had a panic attack and cried for hours and it was all ok. Still randomly get spotting now though it’s always been brown blood since then and scares me every time. I think the important thing is how heavy it is, how long it lasts and if there are cloys. Doesn’t sound too bad at the moment? x

Yeah I’m 8 weeks now nearly 9 and baby had a heartbeat and was on track for growth last they checked and that was after my bleed. I mentioned it to the midwife yesterday she didn’t bat an eye lid it happens to lots of people. Just have to cross your fingers and hope it settles down. If it is something worse then there’s absolutely nothing you can do, nothing you can do either way so just try as hard as it is to relax, have a lie down stay hydrated and and distract yourself somehow. x

They’re going to check my bloods on Monday for reassurance so I’ll just have to wait it out as it’s another 2 weeks then until first scan x

Hey ahh can imagine that such a worry. I constantly knicker check for things like that and know would scare me to. Hope all is ok and just one those things like ppl say. Everything crossed all ok xx

That good it stopped. Hope continues to be ok. Yep feels like a long waiting game esp when having all sorts of symptoms and hard to know if good or not sometimes🤦‍♀️. Take good care xx

Seems to have stopped and wasn’t heavy, was such a shock and I just wasn’t expecting it.

Luckily I got my favourite nurse who calmed me down and even said she’d scan me on Monday if I wanted but it was too early really so I said no.

Hi.

Sorry to hear you're having a worrying time. How are you now? Has the bleed stopped?

I had a pink then brown bleed on Wednesday which lasted about half a day and just like you I panicked and assumed the worst as I've been here twice before at 5 weeks and it didn't end wellI. I had bloods done on Wednesday (5,100) and then again today (12,000) so I'm feeling a little reassured. My clinic are surprised at how high my levels are and now want to scan me next week when I'll only be 6 weeks to "check that everything is where it should be". Now Im worrying that they're too high and there's a problem. It's such a rollercoaster of emotions and the worry is never-ending. 🙈

I know everyone's situation is different but I wanted to share my story with you to let you know that I've also had a bleed about the same time as you and at the moment all still seems to be well.

It does seem to have stopped and it didn’t last long and it wasn’t too much blood so trying to forget it for the weekend.

I’m going to have bloods on Monday to see how HCG level is now but I’m feeling a bit more positive after all the lovely stories you ladies shared.

Hi please don’t panic as I had it at the same time . Quite a bit and bright red blood . It happened again about 5 days later . I just assumed it was over . I had an early scan and I’ve got a hematoma around the fetus (basically a blood clot). They still said I could bleed . I am about 8.5 weeks just waiting for the clinic scan next week but basically it’s not over as yet . Please don’t think the worst . I made myself sick with it. See if you can get an early scan even though they couldn’t see much they saw the sac then a week later they could see a heartbeat x x
