IVF cycle buddies

Is anyone starting their IVF cycle this month? I’m starting around 17 September and i’m beginning to feel anxious as the date is getting closer. We have an appointment with the nurse on the 9th. Just wondering if anyone is in the same position?

I’m doing a fresh cycle - my first one. What about you? It’s exciting as it’s what we want but I think the not knowing what’s ahead, having not been through the process before, makes it a bit anxious!

Good luck to you! This will be my 3rd frozen cycle! I did my fresh last July so if you have any questions I can probably answer them. Try not to be anxious, the injections are not too bad! Xx

Hi

I'm starting mine around 19th/20th. My first one failed unfortunately. Just try to relax, have vitamin supplements and eat well. The injections aren't too bad. I was so nervous about them at first but once you've done the first one you will be fine.

Hiya and snap! I am due on my period next Tuesday Sept 17th which means I should be making the call to start my IVF cycle. I have had my funding approved and this will be my first round of IVF. I feel nervous and not sure what treatment I will actually be having until I make the phone call and start getting my scans etc through off the hospital. I am nervous to find out whether I will have to take pessaries because they seem really messy but I will have to wait and see I guess. I still need to learn all the terms that everyone uses on here.
