I'd like to know about vaping too. Desparately trying to quit 😔
Hey hun, well firstly good on you for trying to give up! 😊 and no offence to you but you probably should have stopped before FET. Smoking significantly decreases blood flow around the body, and more importantly your womb. I know how hard it is to give up smoking! I had to give up before starting my first round and it was tough! (started up again after my miscarriage 😓 after over a year smoke free 😩) I would consult your doctor about the nicotine patches. In all honesty...I would suggest just cutting right back now. I wouldnt just stop cold turkey as that will just throw your body out of whack and you will be going through withdrawal and your body will be very stressed out dealing with withdrawal and you dont want that while your embie is trying to get comfy. Not to mention the stress and irritation you will be feeling. My friend had 3 miscarriages back to back..she quit smoking cold Turkey each time she found out she was pregnant and yeah miscarried. Her last 2 kids she didnt stop but cut back slowly...her only 2 successful pregnancies. Might have nothing to do with it but she swears that it did.
But hey I'm not a doctor just my thoughts but it kinda makes sense when you think about it. But yes def talk to your doctor about patches before using them. I wish you all the luck with quitting, i know it's hard but you can do it! 😁 and I hope you get your BFP 😊😘💕
Patches have got to be better than smoking as you don't have all the chemicals in a patch that cigarettes have. I'm sure a Dr is not going to say you can't use patches. Good luck with whatever you choose xx
