Just an update

I am very happy today

I have severe ovarian endometriosis and this is my third ivf

We got very few eggs in the first two cycles

I thought I was a poor responder because I have large bilateral chocolate cysts

I was referred to another hospital for laparoscopic surgery but we decided to go for another ivf before proceeding to surgery as it might deplete ovarian reserve

I had my egg retrieval today

And I was surprised that we got 7 eggs today

While in the first two cycles we got only 4 and 3 respectively

Now we are waiting to hear how many viable embryos we will have !!

Hi dear,

Honestly I didn’t do anything different this time

But I was eating healthy

It really depends on the skills of your doctor and how much they really want to help you

I guess I always had good eggs in my previous cycles but as there are lots of adhesions around my ovaries, it was difficult to access the ovaries

Before starting the cycle I had asked for vit supplements but I was told that they do not recommend any particular product

But said that nutrients like vit e ,d iron help with good quality eggs

So I was drinking fortified milk rich in the above nutrients

Also ate a lot of veggies like broccoli, asparagus, spinach tomatoes and almost all the fruits and fish like salmon

Pls try to take folic acid too

This should be at-least three months before the cycle

And try to reduce stress

I just wanted to inform that we got three viable embryos all of which are good quality embryos

And also I had hysteroscopy today to rule out any polyp or fibroid

The test came back normal

It was so painful but I am relieved today 😊
