Friendship advice needed

Hi everyone,

In need of some advice..

Recently my friend gave birth to her second little girl, but it was a traumatic delivery resulting in some brain damage to her daughter. We communicated back & forth in those first few difficult days, and I sent her daily messages of love and support and also a card, which she responded to and in a couple of weeks her daughter was showing amazing signs of recovery and was allowed home.

However, I have sent a couple messages now to which she hasn’t responded to, with a couple of weeks gap in between each.. and she has read them..She posts daily on Facebook documenting her daughters progress, and she seems to be doing amazingly well, going from strength to strength. The posts are really quite fun and happy. So I was hoping to meet her soon, but of course don’t want to pressure.

I know she has constant appointments for her little girl which is exhausting. With my fertility struggles I really value my friendships so I just want to be there for her, that’s all really. Should I just leave it now until she’s ready to talk in her own time?

I feel u but sometimes you just have to give time to people . People can be weird at different times

And the fact that you know many things as compared to others who are in fb . So just stay calm. She just needs some time xx
